Senior Product Owner for a premium automotive company (m/f/d)
Responsibilities
- As a Product Owner in the InCarStore Agile team in Berlin, you will have end to end ownership of discovering, defining, launching, and improving the InCarStore of our customer used by hundreds of customers worldwide to discover, download and manage Android apps in the car
- Collaborate on daily bases with the development team as well as several stakeholders worldwide to push the InCarStore forward
- Stay on top of release timelines of different car models and adapt to process changes when necessary
- Collaborate with external teams developing various dependencies to the InCarStore and strive to unblock the development team
- Maintain the product backlog, prioritizing and defining requirements while keeping a strong focus on user experience, quality, security, reliability, stability, and scalability of the cloud services
- Lead the planning of team's sprint and definition of sprint goal(s)
Profile
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electrical Engineering or a comparable qualification
- Solid hands-on experience as a Product Owner
- Experience of working with multiple engineering teams, steering product direction from discovery to delivery with a strong customer focus
- Understanding of agile and classic development processes, tools, challenges, and constraints
- Familiarity with Microservices, REST APIs, CI/CD, and infrastructure/development practices
- Familiarity with cloud technologies like Azure/AWS/GCP
- Feature domain expertise knowledge such as embedded and cloud automotive functions, Connectivity, Tuner, Vehicle infotainment, Navigation etc.
- Software architecture knowhow
- Know How in at least one programming language, e.g. C/C++, Python, Java, Go
- Open-Source Background
