In addition, this role emphasizes a strategic leadership component, requiring collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders and senior management to drive category and sourcing excellence. As a key strategic partner, you will lead a global team, fostering a collaborative environment to achieve ambitious procurement objectives within the Technical Spend categories. Your responsibilities will be the following: 
    • Develop strategic procurement strategies and priorities in alignment with Xellia’s global company strategy and directions, in collaboration with senior stakeholders, including preparation, development, and execution.
    • The Global Category Manager is the global category Subject Matter Expert (SME) and understands all needs and priorities of the relevant stakeholders for the spend categories in their scope 
    • Lead negotiations and contracting activities on all levels of CAPEX investments.
    • Act as a people manager and team lead, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance management to a team of cross-country procurement professionals, fostering a high-performance culture aligned with strategic category goals.
    • Global and regional category strategy development and execution within the assigned categories
    • Global and local MRO & CAPEX procurement activities (Engineering services, OEM Process Equipment, Construction, CQV services) 
    • Supplier relationship management (Set supplier KPIs, performance evaluation, dispute resolution, supplier visits, making/issuing Change Orders, delivery expedition)
    • Supply risk assessment and management (develop and execute mitigation plans)
    • Enforce Xellia’s Procurement Policy / Process compliance
    • Systems, processes and policies:

    • Support preparation and implementation of global procurement policies, SOPs, working instructions and templates as well as implement them in Territory.
