THE TECH TALENT EXPLORER 2024

The Tech Talent Explorer provides comprehensive data on the IT talent market in EMEA for the first time. We asked tech specialists about their skills, intentions and interests, combined with an international comparison of current and expected remuneration.

Interactive charts and maps allow you to compare the wishes, interests and intentions of different tech and IT specialists in 20 EMEA countries. On this basis, companies can customise their offers to the requirements and skills of professionals in order to attract and retain tech talents.

The report offers insights into the following topics:

Artificial Intelligence: The different perspectives were highlighted, both on attitudes towards AI and the use of AI tools.
Attraction and retention: The findings can be used to adapt the company's offerings and the appearance to the priorities and wishes of employees.

Focus on Artificial Intelligence

Most tech professionals want to work on challenging projects that utilise the latest technologies.

82% of the tech specialists surveyed want to expand their expertise in AI.
64% see "increased productivity and efficiency" as the biggest benefit of using AI tools.
Only 31% of EMEA companies currently recommend the use of AI tools.

Focus on Attraction and Retention

Tech talent values work environment and flexibility more than work-life balance or job security.

69% see flexibility as the most valuable aspect of a benefits package, even more than remote work.
58% of all tech specialists from the EMEA region prioritise a "good working atmosphere" above all other non-monetary factors.
37% have quit their job due to a lack of development opportunities.
